| One of the worlds leading digital camera
and non-digital camera technology companies, Fuji Photo Film
Co., Ltd., has revealed a new logo to be used as their corporate
image. On October 1, 2006, Fuji is switching to FUJIFILM Holdings
Corporation, and with it a new company structure. Their plan
is to bring together management of both their companies, FUJIFILM
Corporation and Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd.
The new logo will come into effect on the same date of October
1, 2006. Fujifilm officials say that the new logo represents
this change in their structure.
Fujifilm's core business, photosensitive materials, has been
expanded by leaps and bounds since the inception of their
current logo in 1980. At a time when change is needed to continue
to be a leader in their industry, the company is touting their
company-wide re-structuring as their "Second Foundation."
The company has invested into various different industries,
pumping a lot of capital in research efforts, and their name
now reaches into medical imaging, graphic arts; flat panel
displays, optical devices, and other electronic devices. In
a time of continued growth and expansion, the new logo is
designed to strengthen their corporate brand. |
