Dredging is an older type of fishing,
and is not used to catch the traditional fish. It is used
to collect aquatic animals such as oysters and scallops from
the sea foor. This causes a lot of damage to the sea floor,
and has since been abandoned, replaced with actual scuba divers.
Dredging is accomplished by using a boat,
which pulls a scoop shaped mesh along the sea floor, 'scooping'
up the scallops.
