Invented in 1848 by Julio T. Buel, the Spoon Lure
is simple in use. It attracts fish by reflecting light, and
random movement. The lure itself resembles the shape of a
spoon. A single hook is attached to the end of the metal dish.
Most of the time the spoon shape is painted, but sometimes
it is just bare metal.
