| People who enjoy camping usually go camping to escape the
everyday hassles of living and working in the city. Some prefer
to camp in public campgrounds which usually have washrooms and
showers closeby. Other people prefer camping completely in the
wilderness, away from roads and civilization. Oftentimes they
will travel into the woods with nothing more than the backpack
they are carrying. |

| At many public or government run campgrounds recreational
vehicles (RV's) are allowed onsite which provides their owners
with electricity, running water and enclosed beds. Common camping
equipment includes tents, cooking equipment (portable stoves),
hatchet (for cutting wood) and a flashlight. |
