| Before you start shooting arrows, drop an arrow into
the ground where your feet are. When you shoot an arrow
at the target, and miss, drop an arrow in the ground where your
first arrow landed (if you can find it!). For future shots,
this gives you a distance, and relative line, to limit your
search to. |
| |
| When you find an arrow, pull them back towards the
spot where you shot them from, as this will prevent possible
breakage. |
| |
| If you are on a slope, make sure you are shooting uphill.
Missed shots can sail for a far distance if shooting down a
slope. The best way to setup a target is in front of
a large backdrop, something soft like dirt is best. All this
said, the best way to prevent losing arrows is to have
an idea where it will go if you miss, even before you shoot. |
| |
| Remeber, always make sure there is no danger of injury to
any human or animal when shooting your arrows. |
