| Proper care and maintenance of your archery
equipment is needed to make sure you always have top condition
equipment. Your bow is especially important, as there is no
archery without it. |
| |
| Always use a bowstringer to string your bow.
This is the best and safest way, for you and the bow, to string
it. |
| |
| When you are not using your bow, remove the string. This reduces
the tension on the bow arms. |
| |
| Never fire your bow without an arrow nocked.
The arrow takes a lot of the impact, and relieves the stress
on the arms. |
| |
| Heat can damage your bow, so never leave in a hot place. Find
a cool, dark and dry location to store your bow when not in
place. |
| |
| Always use the proper size strings. |
| |
| Find out which arrows are suited for your bow, and use these
only. Under or over weight arrows can have
damaging effects on your bow. |
| |
| If your string is worn or damaged, replace it immediately. |
