| When using arrows, or making them yourselves, you need
to consider the weight of the arrow. Heavy arrows are slower
to leave the bow when fired, and and lose speed at a greater
rate. This said, the goal is to create as light an arrow
as possible. Lighter arrows will have greater velocity when
fired, and will stay on the same horizontal line for a longer
period of time. The weights of arrows normally range from 3.5
to 6.5 grams. |

| However, you also do not want to create arrows that are too
light. Extra light arrows leave the bow quickly, but also may
not have the needed weight to sail through the air properly.
Really light objects tend to go minimal distances when thrown,
and the same is true for an arrow. |

| The weight of the arrow combined with the
weather, or strictly, air conditions. In a humid environment,
the air creates friction on the arrow, slowing it down. It clear
weather, the arrow has an easier path through the air. |
