Iced
Coffee has different variations throughout the world,
but in the United States, it is simply a cold variation of
coffee. Iced Coffee is made by taking any type of coffee,
and cold dripping it instead of using hot water. When the
iced coffee is finished dripping, add ice cubes and
enjoy. In some coffee houses across the United States, frozen
coffee is used instead of water in the 'ice cubes'. Some people
also add milk and/or sugar to their Iced Coffee.
In some cases, Iced Coffee is made by pouring hot
coffee over ice until chilled. Making it this way allows the
sugar to be added while the coffee is hot and dissolve properly.
If poured hot, most coffee houses make the coffee double strength,
due to the fact that the ice will dilute the taste. |
